Plano Kitchen Remodel: Before & After

This Plano kitchen remodel is one of our more unique transformations. The bright, airy space was modeled after the delicately hand-painted MacKenzie-Childs line of dishware. The black and white checked pattern of the famous brand was portrayed with a delicately balanced design. The kitchen is a small space and we didn’t want the look to be overwhelming but instead, an expression on the homeowners’ personalities!

The structural layout of the room was not changed however appliances were relocated to more functional positions; with the exception of the gorgeous windows above the sink, everything was torn out and replaced. Soft-white cabinets with glass display showcase the homeowner’s collectible dishes and white subway tile accented with a patterned line highlight the backsplash area and blend neatly with the new tiled floor. A pop of red on above the range adds a splash of color and personality while new black solid surface countertops neatly pull the look together! By moving the range to another wall, a user-friendly work triangle was created and a custom hood with a red diagonal tile accent on wall below it make a gorgeous statement in the kitchen.
