Project Update: North Dallas Dream Master Bath

This bathroom began with a custom floor plan which takes technology to a new level. The centerpiece of the room is a Bain Ultra Essencia® 6838 freestanding tub with hot air jets for a deep-down massage. The Geysair warm air jet system envelops the bather in warmth and helps to maintain a consistently warm water temperature. An AromaCloud essential oil diffuser is seamlessly integrated into the bath deck, where it releases a delicate mist of oils that maximize aromatherapy benefits.

And let’s not forget about the shower. This isn’t just any shower – it’s a Mr. Steam® in-home full steam shower with Butler spa package that includes an aroma steam oil delivery system, mood lighting system and sound system with in-shower music therapy speakers. The rain shower head features rain, waterfall, mist and chromatherapy lights, plus there are six body sprays and regular and hand shower heads with a Kohler DTV® System. The shower is controlled by a single digital touchscreen with personalized settings.

The toilet is one of the most advanced luxury toilets on the market: the TOTO® Neorest 700H Dual Flush Toilet featuring an ultra-high efficiency jet flushing system, an automatic open/close lid, multifunctional remote control, adjustable heated seat and adjustable spray position, plus a built-in air purifying system. There is also a wall-mounted bidet to the side.

The mirrors are LED-backlit with built-in LCD televisions that vanish when not on, all fully integrated into the sound system. The sound speakers are invisible and built in behind the walls, producing ambient music throughout the space with no visual footprint. The electronics are connected to wifi and controlled by an app on an iPhone. All lights are fully dimmable, including the Foscarini® Big Bang LED focal chandelier.

The floors are warmed by a SunTouch® Heated Floor System and covered with Eleganza wood-look tile. There is also an electric wall-mounted towel warmer located next to his vanity. Unique modern, polished chrome Hansgrohe fixtures adorn the sinks and a floor-mounted tub filler accents the freestanding tub.

The countertops and shower seat and ledge area behind the tub are Onyx, with wall tile from Artistic Tile lining every wall up to the ceiling. The cabinets are custom by Canyon Creek Cabinet Company, with a knee space and built-in accessories like pull-out appliance drawers and vertical tower storage for him. The homeowner chose to finish the space with modern floating polished chrome bath hardware from the WS® Bath Skuara collection.
