"I actually found Hatfield Builders on Houzz when we first starting talking about doing a remodel after we purchased our home. I loved the pictures of their projects and I read every single review I could find. They made the short list of contractors we interviewed and we ultimately went with them to do a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen, along with updating several bathrooms and various other projects in our 1970s home. I can say that I genuinely enjoyed the process of working with Hatfield Builders. From the design to the final product, I was completely satisfied. The design process was absolutely critical for us. We were gutting our kitchen, moving walls and completely starting over with the layout including filling in a sunken living room off of the kitchen. The Hatfield design process let us do multiple iterations of the layout and actually see what it would look like with 3D renderings. For me, this alleviated one of my biggest fears- that we would get to the end of the construction and I wouldn’t like the layout and finish choices we had made. I got to see what my kitchen would look like before a single wall came down. I didn’t know it before this project, but a Design & Build firm like Hatfield is a game changer. When you tell people you are going through a remodel, they immediately tell you all of their horror stories with contractors. However, we had nothing but a positive experience and highly recommend Hatfield Builders to our friends. Any time even the smallest issue would come up, I had full confidence in their team to be transparent with options and to address it efficiently. I have no doubt we will use them again in the future and consider their entire team to be friends that we will keep up with moving forward.
