Maplecrest Kitchen

From darkness to light, it’s hard to believe this is the same space. Hatfield (now Alair Homes- Plano) Builders transformed a dark, hole of Dallas, TX kitchen remodel and den remodel into light filled, open, cool retreat. By completely gutting the kitchen and den areas, Hatfield (now Alair Homes- Plano) was able to start from scratch to create the exact Great Room feel the client desired. Our design included a large peninsula for eating, meal prep and homework.  We also added an island and pushed back a wall into the laundry area to accommodate more space in the kitchen.  We removed the soffits and added custom and highly functional cabinetry.  By using contrasting colors for kitchen cabinetry (stained Clear Alder and white painted wood), beautiful Super White Extra quartzite countertop, and a timeless gray 3×6 subway tile for the backsplash, Hatfield (now Alair Homes- Plano) created a lasting kitchen design for years to come.  The homeowners wanted an office area in kitchen and we moved the pantry to allow for this.  The new lighting plan was installed throughout with added recessed, under cabinet and pendants over the peninsula.  A large frosted glass buffet in the breakfast area adds tons of storage and keeps the wood and white theme.  Our homeowners are delighted with their new spaces as every desire they had was achieved in this Dallas, TX home remodel.
