What’s Happening at Hatfield: See Our New Look and Meet Our New Office Manager

Hatfield Builders office exteriorHatfield is growing, and so is our office space! In early 2015, we relocated to a larger corner space at 701 East Plano Parkway that better accommodates the team and our clients.

hatfield1“Our new office allows for a large design room, tons of space for samples and is a more comfortable place to meet as we help our clients create the home renovation or addition of their dreams,” said Diane Hatfield, Marketing Coordinator. “Fulfilling our clients’ dreams and creating beautiful projects is what we love to do, and we are very excited to have this larger space to better achieve that goal.”

A New Face in the Office

The new office isn’t the only change that has happened! In July, Team Hatfield added Kristin McMullin to its administrative staff. Kristin brings with her a friendly personality and positive attitude. As office manager, she is responsible for creating great first impressions for Hatfield, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing support to the sales staff.

kristinKristin earned an Associate’s Degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Dallas, and has wide-ranging experience in marketing and administration roles. “My favorite thing about my job is being able to work with a winning staff that gives their 110%,” said Kristin. “The service that Hatfield provides to its clients throughout the building process really sets the company apart from other builders in North Texas.”

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Kristin grew up in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas and currently lives in Rockwall. She has been married for 14 years and has three sons. She enjoys expressing her creativity through interior decorating and photography. Her favorite place to dine out is Chiloso Mexican Bistro in Rockwall, and if she should go anywhere for a day, it would be to a beach in Hawaii with her family. In the future, Kristin hopes to visit Rome, Italy.

When asked what one piece of advice she would give others about life, Kristin said, “Like the book by Richard Carlson says, ‘Don’t sweat the small stuff.’ Focus your energy on the important things in life that really matter, like spending time with the people you love.”

Welcome to the team, Kristin!
